Clinic Information
Our Classes are taught by our experienced and energetic coaches and are curriculum-based, providing an environment for players to learn, grow and develop. Advanced classes are offered for more experienced players. We offer a total of 9 different classes. Each of these classes are held once a week for 10 weeks.
Pricing
Each clinic is $325 and is ten weeks long and last an hour in duration.
The only exception is our learn to play Dek hockey class which costs $225 for ten weeks.
You will receive 25% off the class if you are participating in Skate Safe's House League!

LEVEL 1 – LEARN TO PLAY DEK HOCKEY (This is not on skates, but on sneakers)
Students learn the basic about the sport of hockey. Skills learned include stick handling, shooting, passing and positioning. Experienced coaches will allow all to learn in a positive environment that focuses on building up the confidence of the children and love for the sport of hockey.

LEVEL 2 – LEARN TO SKATE
Students learn the basic inline skating skills through fun and interactive activities. Skills learned include starting, stopping, balance, falling, and getting up. Experienced coaches will allow all novice and beginner skaters to learn in a positive environment that focuses on building up their skating skills from the beginning.

LEVEL 3 - INTRO TO HOCKEY
This program is designed for players with little or no hockey experience. Age-appropriate drills will focus on stick handling, passing, and shooting. Players must be able to skate forward, fall, and get up unassisted in order to participate in this class. The learn to skate program is suggested before participating in this class. Most students will spend 2-3 sessions in this class.

LEVEL 4– INSTRUCTIONAL LEAGUE
Students play games while under the supervision of staff and coaches. Games are played similar to real games but is stopped at times for teaching points for both rules and strategies that will help advance the players to the next level. No statistics or scoring is kept in this program as the focus is on the fun of the game.

LEVEL 5 - HIGH PERFORMANCE - AGES 8+
Designed for intermediate to advanced caliber players this program will develop and strengthen a participant’s speed, endurance, and overall skills. This is a conditioning and training program that elevates a player’s ability and stamina on the rink. Students in this class will be expected to work hard as this is an intense training class.

LEVEL 6 - ISLANDWIDE SKILLS - AGES 10+
For our more advanced players - this clinic is designed to work on their skill set that the students can then implement in game play. Full rink games, half rink games, smaller team numbers mean players must take responsibility and not rely on teammates, all-star game style competition as well. The class will take place Thursdays at 5:00 PM.

ASK US ABOUT CUSTOM CLASSES: If your schedule does not work with ours, we would be happy to customize a class for your group of 5 or more. You can include skating and/or hockey into the class as we customize the class to fit your needs.
